Your Big Day is coming up! You have the cake prepared, the guest list finished, the ring polished, and your dress hung up, but there is one thing left to pick out: Your wedding photographs. You want to have some lovely images to keep forever and show to your kids someday, something memorable that you will always look fondly at. So, maybe you and your husband-to-be are comic fans. Whether you prefer DC or Marvel, an ode to your favorite superheroes is a fun and creative way to spice up your wedding photographs. Have your groom and each of his groomsmen wear a superhero T-shirt under his button down. For example, the groom might wear Superman, and his groomsmen will be his Justice League. For pictures, they can open their shirts like they’re ready to save the world!

It’s been done before, but it’s still cute every time. While it’s tough to get everyone in the picture to jump at the same time, once you get it down, you have a great picture. Your dog has always been your best friend, your cat likes to drape herself over your shoulders, or you ride horses professionally. No matter what animal you have in your life, you can incorporate them into your photographs. Just keep a lint roller handy for any pet hair! Immortalizing your best friend will bring back sweet memories for years to come, and your pet is sure to think he looks very handsome next to you.

The bride must take pictures with her bridal party! After doing all the pretty poses, you can do something really fun that all your girls are sure to frame somewhere: have them pose according to their personality! Make sure to exaggerate, for the funniest picture possible. The one who likes wine can be chugging a bottle, the nerd can wear thick-framed glasses and be reading a book, the swimmer can wear her goggles, and so on. Child’s Play

For pictures with your studly groom, bring it back to your childhoods. Find a tire swing and old playground somewhere. Swing in the tire swing, seesaw together, play hide-and-seek, and generally be silly. The joy on your faces will create the biggest smiles, which are best for pictures. You can also sit in a tree and kiss each other, like the old rhyme. The old juxtaposed with the new will make for some beautiful photographs.
